UWP First Blog
This is my very first blog so I'm really not sure how to start. Moreover, I feel like I'm on a bad start because I got confused on the due date for this assignment, so I'm posting late. Let see, even though I'm unexperienced with blogging, I remember seeing my friends blog online with xanga.com when it was popular. My relationship to writing has changed throughout the years. By this I mean high school writing is very different compared to college level writing and I realized that the "5 paragraph essay" format doesn't cut it anymore. Some reservations I have are the level of privacy and this new idea of posting online as an homework assignment. I'm hoping to really explore and learn something new through these blog entries. Finally, my goal in this class is to improve my writing abilities as I mature as a writer.

Tyrone, I was very glad to hear you participate in class today; I hope you will continue to do so. And yes, the five-paragraph essay format is certainly not the key to effective writing. I will be curious to see how your relationship to writing changes—or not—with your posts in this course.
Where is your next post? If in group A, you needed to have posted by Wednesday at 4, in group B, by Friday at 4:00. Check the syllabus again or email me for any clarification needed. I am anxious to read what your work!
I have to follow Nikki's lead and correct the errors in one of my comments: what did I mean by "read what your work!"? Well, I too have moments of sloppiness and I am sure there are more throughout my comments. I think I meant to write, "to read your work." This is a good reminder always to proofread.
